Toronto celebrates the arrival of Old Turkic New Year with Multicultural Nevruz Earth Spring Festival on Sunday, April 9th , 2017.
This year more than 33 diverse cultures will be meeting at the Nevruz Earth Spring Festival celebrating the beginning of New Year according to the ancient Turkic tradition.
The Earth Spring Festival has been traditionally celebrated in a number of Asian and European countries. This year it will be celebrated by the Turkic communities living in Toronto with the motto “Dance Between Cultures”.
The Festival will start at 12pm to 5 pm , on Sunday, April 9th, 2017 at the Address:

Earth Spring Festival celebration will include countries represented Turkiye, Canada, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhsitan, Kyrgyzstan, Tatarishtan, Tajikistan, Yakutistan, Kirim Turks, Northern Cyprus , Bashkortostan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Afghanistan, North Iraq Turkmens, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa, China, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia , Indonesia, Ukraine, Peru, Nigeria, Somalia, Lebanon and more ...
Each of these ethnic communities will demonstrate their traditional food, culture and folk dance.
This festival organized by Intercultural Dialogue Institute a member of Anatolian Heritage Federation.
6tt Annual Nevruz Earth Spring Festival will become another unique contribution to the rich cultural mosaic of our city.
